It was very easy for him getting the permission to see the videos because everybody in the island was very affected  about the case.

When he watched the recordings, he could confirm what Marc had told him: Jana travelled alone to Formentera! So it meant that the murderer had been in Formentera and it had nothing to do with  Marc… It wasn’t what he expected at all!  

While the detective was watching the video, he noticed that something fell down from Jana’s pocket when she stood up to leave the ferry. It was her mobile phone!

Immediately, Thomas contacted the ferry tripulation in order to get Jana’s phone and they told him to look in lost and found.
